Just FYI to the developers:

I'm making a plugin for WordPress and noticed that out-of-box
fancybox's CSS definitions for z-index are lower than the header of
the default WordPress theme's header ( 1101 vs. 9999 ). I've increased
the numbers in my version of the CSS, however I'd recommend adding
10,000 to each definition, because fancybox should always render on
top of any other piece of content.

Cheers

Or could it be that the WordPress z-index is too high? ;-)
