I'm using WordPress 2.92 and Fancybox 1.3 (not WordPress plugin).
Everything works just fine but is it possible to show image caption
instead of title?
Thanks. :)
maybe 'inside' is what you expect as caption
If I insert image in Wordpress there are several options for text:
caption, title, alternate text. Currently Fancybox uses title but is
it possible to show only caption instead title. Caption appears under
my thumbnail so it would be less typing.
Thanks. :)
it is a great plugin, indeed.
I would like to join this question, though. Is there a way to show an
image caption instead of title?
Image caption is a text that describes the image, usually displayed
next to it to provide viewers with more information about the scene in
the image.
For example: http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/photography/photo-of-the-day/#caption
- you can see the caption in the main column below the photo. I think
it can be encoded in each jpg file, in a field such as 'author' and
'rating'. Wordpress has it's own field to add this information to an
image in a library.
If this were possible, the plugin would be simply perfect.
