Fancybox: Loading spinner problem in IE9 and iPad's Safari

I'm experiencing some weird bug on IE9 and Safari on an iPad when
using the Fancybox. The loader/spinner image doesn't seem to show for
those browsers. I happened to catch that in case of an iPad it is
shown but if the page is long enough the spinner isn't moved along
with the scrolling and stays on top of the page and thus may not be
visible.
So is it just me not using some settings?
