The book of the year decided to hit early in 2024, so everyone should just go ahead and just pick up a copy of Ultimate Spider-man #1 by Hickman. This first issue is such a great starting point for both hardcore Spider-Fans as well as people who have never uttered the words Peter Parker. Certainly an auspicious start to the Ultimates relaunch, so I am even more excited about Ultimate Black Panther and Ultimate X-Men. The second of the two Krakoa finale books is also out this week with Rise of the Powers of X #1, as well as the second issue of the incredible Thunderbolts series from Lanzing and Jackson. The book I am most excited about this week is Zorro Man of the Dead #1 by Sean Murphy. Its a great new modern version of the story of Zorro, with that wonderful Sean Murphy art that shows his passion for the project. All these and more this week at Fanboy Comics!
