Ride to East Boston

Would you like a guided bicycle tour of East Boston?   Family Bike Ride is looking for a few families to test out an East Boston event before it becomes an official event next year.   It would involve riding from Cambridge to Long Wharf on safe off street infrastructure, riding the MBTA Ferry, and biking on the waterfront and the East Boston Greenway.   There are many beautiful sights to see, playgrounds, a beach, watching airplanes, places to eat, etc.   For me having not been until this year it feels like being a tourist in another city without having to travel much at all.   

I'm looking to find people for this Sunday the 10th, but Monday Veteran's day the 11th or following weekend of 16/17 might be options if weather is good.

Write with your time frame availability.  There is a large midday gap in Ferry schedule so it would either be a primarily AM event so we can return on the last ferry before the gap or it would be late AM to late afternoon event where we straddle the gap.  

No box bikes due to ferry boat limitations, tight turn to get on boat.   

Limit 5 cargo bikes due to ferry size, the main thing we want to test is what it is like to board multiple cargo bikes onto the ferry before determining the limit for next year's ride.
