Weekend Festivals-Group Rides

Here are some opportunities for some groups rides to/from festivals this weekend:

Saturday 9/13

Me, in my role as a member of Somerville Bicycle Advisory Committee, am organizing rides to and from Fall Festival, Gilman Square Arts & Music Festival and Riverfest.   Full schedule   Pick and choose which rides are helpful to your day's itinerary.   Some street riding, some hills.   Not suitable for emerging riders.

Sunday 9/14

Family Bike Ride casual ad hoc ride to Belmont Town Day.    9:15AM meet at 7 Hills Park, Davis Square Somerville, depart 9:30.  ~3.1 miles This is a FUN festival, they have rides!  (amongst other things)  Rides cost money, I don't remember how much.  My then 4 and 9 year olds both found rides they enjoyed last time we went.   Bike ride is fairly conservative ride with nice infrastructure-we did a similar version for the Halloween 2023 event.

None of these rides are orchestrated in great detail with crossing guards like the main spring-summer-halloween Family Bike Rides.
