Zombie Teens and Tweens at the Halloween Ride

Would your older child like to become a zombie with their friends?   For fun, we are hiring a makeup artist to do zombie makeup during the setup time before the Halloween Ride event starts.  Sample of her work attached and couple more on the event page:  https://www.familybikeride.org/halloween

Step 1: Indicate interest with a checkbox that is on the registration form (link on event page above)

Step 2: Kids come dressed like zombie, tattered clothes or whatever creative ideas move them

Step 3: Bring your kid(s) during the 9:30-11 setup time at the Condon Shell to have zombie makeup applied (technically we have her until 11:30 but things will get busier the later it goes)

Step 4: Kids wander around the Condon Shell as zombies to entertain themselves and others and/or place themselves randomly along the bike route to make people think they are riding through a post apocalyptic zombie world!  (no jump scares please!)   If there are any civically minded zombies we need people to stand at forks in the paths and direct riders where to go (no cars involved).  

This element is designed to increase the appeal of our event to older kids but is not exclusive to any age.  Depending on demand the makeup person may have capacity to punch up non zombie costumes too.   This is our first time trying this, please be patient as we try something new!
