Minutes from last core meeting and other items

Hello Family Promise Team,
We had a very exciting core team meeting at East Cobb Methodist this past Monday night including getting to meet our new Director Camilla Worrell and getting a walk-through of the new day center. Attached are the minutes from the meeting. Especially note the action items at the end and note if any are yours.
We are getting ready to hold our big See Box City event, and we still have a few unmet needs that we want you to consider. We need the following so please let Jennie Scott (at energet...@aol.com) know if you can help: hot chocolate, pot of soup, granola bars, construction paper, crayons, candles (although Unity North may have these in stock). Also needed are volunteers to provide security during the night. If we get several volunteers, then each will only need to volunteer for two hours. A church (preferably youth group) to put together a vigil service for that evening.
Also, since we are getting ready to open in just 8 weeks, we need to make sure we have all that we need to open. Here are some currently unmet needs:
Van
Trailer
Personal computers (4)
Rollaway Twin beds (16)
Vacuum cleaner
Large plastic containers for each guest (14)
Duffel bags for each guest (14)
As we move closer to opening, I’m sure more items will be added to the list. Let us know if you can help or know someone who can.
