Next Core Team Meeting (Tuesday) at East Cobb Methodist and other items

Core Team and Family Promise Supporters,
Our next core team is this Tuesday November 5 at 7 pm at East Cobb Methodist Church (ECUM) at 2325 Roswell Rd, Marietta. If you’re coming from the west (i.e. I-75), you will need to go past the church and make a u-turn to come back, as there is a median strip on Roswell Road. PLEASE USE THE ENTRANCE AFTER THE SIGN as you drive from the east past the church on your right going east and drive around the building. The meeting is in the Activities Building which is the last building on the right as you drive around to the rear of the church. Park where you find a spot after you come around the building. This meeting is important an opportunity for you for several reasons including:
· We will meet our new Director Camilla Worrell whom the Board is very proud to have on our team. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to meet and begin to get to know Camilla.
· We will get to walkthrough the new Day Center which is directly across the parking lot from our meeting room in the Activities Building;
· All volunteer coordinators need to provide a headcount to Jennie (energet...@aol.com) of the number of signups so far for the Box City event. We need this count in order to assess the success of the event; and
· This will likely be our last core meeting, since all future work will be accomplished either by the Board, the various committees, or the Volunteer Coordinator meetings in the future.

· Please forward any of your ideas and articles for our newsletter (New Beginning) to our newsletter editor, Debbie Sivret, at debbie...@gmail.com . The new newsletter will issue by December 1.
· Please see the attached email from our National Director Jeanna Stewart describing the partnership of FP with Petsmart. As you may know, this is an exciting partnership program with Petsmart that allows guest families to keep their pets even while staying at the various congretions.
