Need Volunteer Van Drivers

Family Promise of Cobb Core Team and Supporters,
As you know, we are opening our doors on January 5 and one of the resources we will need are volunteer van drivers to drive the guest families mainly from the hosting congregation to the day center and back in the evening. The van will be a 15-seater so there is no special license required. We would like to have six or seven volunteer drivers, if possible, to support a rotation of drivers. Primary driving times will be 6:30 am – 7 am and 5:30 pm to 6 pm Monday through Friday. We will also need drivers on Saturdays & Sundays around 8 to 8:30 am and from 5pm to 5:30 pm. These times are estimates and may change as we get into our routines. There may also be a need to drive families to medical appointments and to other centers for training, but these will be sporadic needs that cannot be predicted.
