The link below in paragraph one gives you a great series of photos of families being served that can be used at your church if you’re having a Family Promise day and need something to be shown as a backdrop before you start your meeting. You can order DVDs from Angela Kennedy (also link below).
I’m also attaching an email describing the upcoming national Family Promise Week on October 20-27. This is information you can distribute to your congregations including the fact sheet and the bulletin insert. You’re not required to distribute any of this, but only use it as you see fit.

Attached is the latest issue of Network Leader—please read, share and let us know what topics you’d like to see covered in the next issue.

1. We’ve updated the slide show “Faces of Family Promise” and you can access it from this link. This is a great as a backdrop prior to events, meetings and other times you want to set a tone for an audience. If you want a copy in DVD format you can order it from Angelica. To download the file, click the three dot icon at the bottom right of the page.
2. Mark your calendars…as you know, the 2014 Conference is in the Windy City. We’ve picked the hotel and dates: Hyatt Regency in Schaumberg, 10/25/14-10/27/14. More information to come soon, including a dedicated Conference website for the hotel. We’ve been able to negotiate excellent room rates and perks. Schaumberg offers easy access to the Chicago Loop and other sites, via train or car. It’s going to be great!
And look for several other items coming soon:
· RFP for the 2014 PetSmart Promise program. There will be 5 new sites developed in 2014; the RFP will help get that started.
· Additional pieces related to Family Promise Week
· Announcement of the next webinar, which will at 2pm EDT on 10/29—the first in our Leadership Development series.
