Family Promise Core meeting tomorrow night

Family Promise Core team,
We had an interesting East Cobber Parade on Saturday although very wet. As we walked down the parade, we explained to bystanders about our program and found a lot of interest. We also went from booth to booth getting out the word at the festival and received much verbal support there as well. This was a great opportunity to let the community know about us. I would have sent you photos, but my email system wouldn’t allow it. We now have tee-shirts that will be for sale at $10 each and will be available at the core meeting tomorrow night.
The core team meeting will be at one of our two newest hosting churches, Zion Baptist at 7pm. Please come and get to know our new friends from Zion Baptist and hear about our recent progress. Among other things, we will be discussing our upcoming event on November 15-16 at St. James Episcopal Church and several volunteer coordinator items as well.
Zion Baptist is at 165 Lemon Street in Marietta at the corner of Church and Lemon Streets. There are two parking lots on Lemon Street that can be used. One next to the church on the east side, and the other is across from the church behind the Old Zion Museum. The lot on the east side has more spaces.
