Family Promise of Cobb County - Grand Opening success and Day Center Needs List

To our Family Promise of Cobb supporters,
As most of you know, we had a wonderful day center grand opening event on March 1, with our special guest Karen Olson inspiring us as she shared her experience in starting the program. She was also very impressed with our day center which looked fantastic. Thanks also go to our Executive Director, Camilla Worrell, and our Board President Frederick Massey for speaking inspirationally to the group gathered there. Also, special thanks go to East Cobb UMC for allowing us to use their facility and to Williamson Brothers for the wonderful barbecue & trimmings. And, of course, many thanks to those who worked hard to fix the day center up over the last few weeks and months.
The day center has several needs including:
· Office supplies including these printer supplies:
o Standard paper
o Lexmark x4650 needs #36 and #37 cartridges
o Samsung SCX- 3405W needs MLT-D101S Toner
· Fax machine (recent model)
· PCs (recent models)
· Folders & Dividers
· Gas cards
· Walmart Cards
· Cleaning supplies
· CCT bus cards
· Backpacks for school
· Office chair mat
We also need the following services:
· Job openings/referrals/listings in vocational areas related to written and oral communications
· Second chance landlords
· Volunteer van drivers
· Day center volunteers
We encourage you to include this list of items in your church bulletins, or wherever you believe they will get publicity.
