One Family Musical Event - postponed till September

FPCC supporters and core team,
Due to not having sufficient support from our congregations for the May 3 One Family event, our events planning committee has decided to delay the event until September, with 9/27 the most likely date. We have received many good comments from our churches concerning the event and when it should occur, including the fact that too many of our choirs had schedule conflicts with the 5/3 date. Here are some key points that came from our planning meeting:
· - Please tell your church choir to hold the date for 9/27, but we will confirm later as our planning solidifies;
· - We are looking for representatives from each congregation’s choir to join our planning committee in order to ensure that we have the choirs on board;
· - Paula Grady will be contacting all churches and/or volunteer coordinators to enable the return of tickets sold or unsold; and
· - We will incorporate the suggestions received from our recent calls/emails with the church choirs and pastors to help ensure that this event will be the best that it can possibly be.
