I am still working on this. Eventually, it will be necessary to
pursue records in Bushwick, very few of which are available on line.
It is possible, given a note in the article on the Cropsey family in
"Morris' Memorial History of Staten Island", that the Caspersens are
also the origins of the Gasper/Casper family on the South River.
