Just did a brief Addendum at the end of this page to protect my latest
discoveries. I guess I am batting .500 right now ... I was right
about Vandervoort to Vanderford connection, but wrong about my own
ancestor George Vandiveer. This has been a bit disappointing, but
after all these years, I finally have the answer.
