PA Archives 3rd Series Vol. 1

I have been downloading most of the Pennsylvania Archives, the series
that are pertinent to genealogy, and have created a surname list in
order to keep my research focussed. Not all the names I need to
research are on the list, this was just a starting point, I'll be
adding others later, if anyone getting this wants to add a surname to
that list, let me know.

The following is from the index for 3rd Series, Volume 1. The index
did not include given names, so they are not on the list below.

Some of the surnames I was looking for specific individuals, so if the
entry did not concern that individual I annotated with "not mine". In
the case of the Moore family, I'm still trying to sort them out to
where I know who I need to follow up on, so they are annotated with
"not copied". The surname Gilliland was as close as any entries came
to Giljohnson. Though I am certain they are not the same family, I
have left them on the list and given the first name of the individual
the entry concerned as I might sort them out one day for the fun of
it. Anyone whose entries I transcribed (see "Notes PA Archives 3rd
Series Vol. 1") is annotated with "see notes". Any surname with an "X"
had no entries in the volume.

A couple of surnames were added as I went, they are annotated as such,
but are not added to my focus list at this time. As it is, the list of
surnames is from a variety of different research projects. Some relate
to my biological pedigree; a couple relate to a "project for
hire" (Deweese and Toothmn); and (of course) the majority relate to
the Delaware Vandivers or related families; and the Vandervoort-
Vandiver's (Hollingsworth and Sipple).
