Anyone have any information on the Moulder family? From what I have
read, he was from Germany.

I have the Moulder family in my database but they appear abit earlier than
1745.
Robert Moulder (b. 1650) and his wife, Jane, had 4 children (that I know
of):
Elizabeth, b. abt. 1861, d. 1722, m. Thomas Pedrick
Benjamin, d. abt 7 Apr 1731 Chester County, Pa., married Prudence ?
+ Joseph
+Benjamin
+William
+Mary, b. abt 1680
+Robert, b. 1 Dec 1710, m. Sarah Hewes
Henry, b. 1695
Thomas,

Sorry I couldn't be more help to you.

Actually, I have the same 1650 as approximate date of birth. The
information I was provided was from a Moulder researcher, so I have to
verify everything, but what I found interesting is that he had exact
date of birth for John (3rd generation) in Hamburg, Germany. It is
not often that I have noted 3 generations of a family arriving
together either, so I am going to be working on this for a while.

1 - Robert

2 - Henry Sr. b.c. 1695 wife unknown d. 1764 Grainger Co., TN

3 - John b. 27 May 1733; d. 27 May 1810 Union Co., TN
married Susannah Swingle

4 - Henry b.c. 1768 Rowan Co., NC; d. 17 Sep 1855 White Co., TN
married Mary Margret (unknown) around 1794 Rowan Co., TN

and so forth until the Moulder's connect to my family in Arkansas.

Ok. Going through the initial "trash stage" getting a feel for this
family. Will get to real research eventually. A modification I would
already make is to take Robert Moulder out of the formula. Henry
(second generation). arrived with family in the 1740's in Pennsylvania
with the many Palantine's, etc. Suggestions that the name in the
fatherland was Mohler and Moller. It is suggested that Swingle is
Swiss. Funny.
