Thanks to Jerry, I found the later will book on line at http://www.archive.org/texts/flipbook/flippy.php?id=calendarofnewjer03newj

I don't find this as user friendly as the google, though maybe if you download the whole book, then you could convert from pdf to cut and paste. I ever get a new pc, I may do that eventually.

So, today I just copied by hand and then typed up these few records. Note that even on the same paragraph, the name gets spelled more than one way, part of the difficulty of trying to search these folks online in any venue.

First record is for Andrew, brother of Christopher Sr.  I have him m. to Catherine Vaneman in 1760, though don't know who the father of her son Daniel was.  Also, the John Smith in this one seems worthy to note, since he's showing up more and more on docs concerning the Lindmeyer family.

NJA Wills 33:14

1766 Dec 22. Allen,Thomas of UPN, Salem Co, yeoman. Will of: Wife Catherine the household goods and the 50 acres of land in her charge that belongs to her son Daniel.  Son Thomas to have part of the 100 acres that I bought last and John to have that part above the road. But Margaret Murphy is to have use of the house for 2 years.  Sons Jeremiah and Richard L5 each. Rest of money to my daughters Elizabeth, Mary and Ledona.  Executor son Richard. Witnesses John Smith, Andrew Linmier and Robert Howard.

Proved Feb 1, 1768

1768 Feb 1.  Renunciation by Richard Allen.

1768 Feb 1: Administrator Abel Harris. Fellow Bondsmen Robert Howard and John Smith, yeomen, all of UPN, Salem.

1768 Jan 28 Inv. L59.2.6 made by Robert Howard and Richard Allen.  Lib. 15 p. 316.

This is the fuller text for the Children of Nicholas Lindmeyer Jr, providing for a gaurdian for their estate. I'd already noted the year in Gen Data Vol 1, but it didn't detail who was named.  Interesting as this pulls us back to towards The Cove, in my mind anyway.  Also provides us the list of kids made it past early childhood, since at least one of the burials in the Moravian church book doesn't give a name beyond child of Christopher.

NJA Wills 33:351
1765  June 6.  Linmier, Christianna, Christopher, Nicholas and Sarah of Penns Neck, Salem Co. Gaurdian. Fellowbondsmen, John Helm, both of UPN, yeoman.  Lib. 12, p. 178

NJA Wills 33:332 1767 March 28, Pitman, John of Salem co, Intestate.  Admx Elizabeth Pitman, widow.  Fellowbondsmen, Peter Boon and John Dolbow, yeomen. all of UPN said co.

1767 Feb 21 Inv L215.19. Made by Peter Boon and Henry Peterson (Smith). The sd. John Pitman, before his death was Guardian of Sarah, Christopher, Christiana and Nicholas Lynmyer. Lib. 13. p. 189

I have to reload the page I posted on the site with an early outline. It's changed a couple of ways since I posted it.  Trying to do the yard work however, and this stuff takes a back seat except on my "breaks".  ha.  Decided to post this via the list, because we're picking up more names, and I don't know which of my cousins might be interested in the search at large.  Let me know if you have target names in this email, as I may have more details in my own data.

I have never gotten a very good handle on the family of Hans Jurgen
Smidt and Maria Stalcop (widow of Jan Cornelisson Vandeveer), but it
may be worth looking into where any Smith's are concerned. This would
be early enough to not be too distant - the sons of Hans that I am
aware of are the ones that went into western Maryland, of course.

Do you have the parents of this Catherine Vanneman? Is she part of
Olof and Magdalena (Vandeveer) Vanneman's clan?

Val, give me a call later. Still 8am in Vegas, gotta get my daughter
off to school. Any page you want to keep and potentially make
additions to you should post as a Page vice a Discussion. That way it
can be edited without deleting and reposting.
