I know this group went inactive after the death of Dr. Craig, and my own illness.  I just tried to find it via a search on google groups, to retrieve some documents I had uploaded. But even specific punctuation/spelling in the search engine in google groups didn't find it.  So now, I am trying to discover it if even still exists or has been dismantled.


Anyone else still subscribed here?

I have been trying to figure all the new stuff out this morning. I was
able to approve Beverly, she would be my .... 4th cousin once removed?
She is the granddaughter of Ora Hopkins Hardcastle, who had worked
with my great grandfather Matthew Leroy Vandiver on the original
version of our branch of the family. I'm going to be trying to catch
her up, but I'm not certain what is still here to look at! They really
screwed Google Groups up.

I believe Google "converted" these group pages or some such thing, the
documents that were downloaded to my own google group for the Foudray
Family also all disappeared. Very frustrating. :(

Ah, you've got to love these guys.  Same thing happened years ago to another group I belong to, without warning even the archived messages were wiped.  Very frustrating.

Though if some one was adept enough, could be some way to retrieve. One thing I've learned is deletion isn't forever always.  Though if others still have interest and have saved to their own files, perhaps we could try to create links or include some of the lost data in emails for future reference.

Glad to know not all is lost.....
