"Review on its own/by itself" depending on what it is. "Singly" isn't a word(?)

Link to or from? "Add link to new person" is perhaps clearer, but should it be "Add new family relation"? There are many "Link x" strings.

"ZIP" is the packaging format, "compressed file" is the generic term.

It isn't "family tree" elsewhere, but I prefer it.

"Make this submitter the main person of the tree?" is at-least consistent. Hoping there is a better word for "main person of the tree" "Family tree" vs "tree" is another comment.

The meaning is "Check them one by one", "Overhaul them one at a time". "Singly" is an adverb that means "individually".

Should be "Slide show" as per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slide_show

"Which family should this parent be added to", or better "Which family should this person be the parent of" "Which family should this person be parent"

"Which family should this sibling be added to"?

Could you use this in a sentence? The tip is "Immagine"? Which should be "Imagine", but that doesn't help(?)

Link new person, Link source, Link shared media... are always link to.
Yes, Add link to new person is perhaps clearer, but longer.. The same for Add new family relation.
There are a lot of Link x because I looked for a strict modular standard to create these menu items.

We have to recover exactly a ZIP archive here, not only a generic compressed file.. Anyway I think that ZIP is more correct than Zip or zip to mean the packaging format.

Submitters are not the persons of the tree. Submitters are the authors of the tree.
One submitter can become the main submitter among other submitters.

I agree that Family tree should be a better choice than Tree. Less concise but more meaningful.
But it would be an important change: "tree" recurs more than twenty times in the English translation..

RIN stands for Record Id Number: "A unique record identification number assigned to the record by the source system".
No reason to write it Rin. It must be RIN, or maybe better Automated record ID, as by GEDCOM specifications.

All the "tips" (Source string comment) in the English source are not tips! They are comments I used to write in the strings.xml file before to know they would become tips in Weblate.
Sorry, I will remove them.

Yes. I agree with Slide show.

You are right! The sequence is:
Person child in many families > Link new person > Parent > List of families: Which family should this parent be added to? > choose the family > create the parent
I think it's good to focus on the "parent" that is going to be linked. Citing a "person" can be interpreted as the starting person (the child in many families).

Well, importing an existing GEDCOM file is such a tricky process that I feel the need to celebrate it adequately.. 😄
