Can't Import Gedcom Files

I know there was a previous thread on this but it didn't help.

I downloaded my family tree from familyecho.com as a gedcom file. For some reason, I can't import the files

This example Gedcom File in the downloads folder shows a '?'

When I do press 'Import a Gedcom File', it will be greyed out even though it clearly says .ged, if I try to open the file in the Files App it shows this:

If click the 3 dots and press open with, it shows this:

What do I need to do?
