Buonasera e scusate per il disturbo. Vorrei avere alcune delucidazioni: è da un po' di tempo che uso quest'app e non sono mai riuscito a capire come poter mostrare ogni singolo individuo. Alcune persone mi appaiono solo come una casella con un numero all'interno, forse perché non hanno una parentela diretta con me: come posso far apparire lo stesso l'individuo? Grazie e scusate ancora per il disturbo

I just added in Settings the ability to choose the birthday notification time.
This will be available from next release (version 1.1), or in any preview release.

Hallo, familygem ist mein absoluter Favorit. Kann fast alles, stellt die Fakten prima dar usw. Deshalb habe ich vor einem Jahr auch PREMIUM gekauft. ABER: Irgendwie schmiert es total ab, wenn ich einen Stammbaum mit 3000 Personen und 23 Generationen anzeigen will. Einzige Herausforderung, die mir einfällt: bis zu 50 parallele Linien, da in den Dörfern sehr viele Cousins und Cousinen miteinander verwandt waren.

WIE KANN ICH DAS PROBLEM LÖSEN UND ABSTÜRZE VERHINDERN?

Often is not possible to display all the people of a tree in a single diagram.

We have to admit that Family Gem has some limits.
Trying to display hundreds or also thousands of people all together on the diagram often makes the app to crash.
About this there is also an open issue on GitHub.
Unfortunately I don't see an easy solution to this problem.

Possible solutions:
- Reduce the number of generations displayed on the diagram
- Buy a more powerful device

I will do so. It works okay now.

My android-smartphone has 128GB/ 6GB. I think, it should by enough

 

2. - "Order by familyname" : with version 1.0.1.11 it works correctly.

The numbers are shown when there are too many people - either too many to display in a meaningful way, or just too many regarding your settings. What you can do is try to reduce the number of cousins and uncles in your settings, but maximize the number of ancestors (and descendants, if you want).

But for aesthetic reasons, I think there should also be an option not to show those numbers even if there are more people. And there should be an option to allow an arbitrary number of ancestors - you may have more than 100 and want to print them on some nonstandard format
