Small Problem About the App

Hello! I'm a friendly user of the app Family Gem and it's a great help for my projects and I prefer this app over the many others I've had before. There is a small issue however that I'm hoping you'd take into consideration in fixing? In the media tab, I'll add a photo of my person then the picture will appear which is great, then I delete the photo from my device's photo gallery to save my device space, however when I do that it also deletes the image from the media tab in the app. I really don't want to keep hundreds of pictures of these in my gallery taking up space that I will need for more pictures once the family tree expands and expands. Unless this is just some sort of bug with the app that I'm experiencing, I would hope that the app can be able to save those pictures in the media tabs so I can freely delete them from my gallery to save space without them also being removed from the media tab. This isn't a problem with the other apps like this one, as they save the photos in the app so I could free up my space which as of now is the only negative thing I have to say about this one. Other than that, thank you for making such a great and helpful app for people such as myself can freely use. It'd be greatly appreciated if you would take my complaint into consideration and add some sort of way for the app to save our media uploaded pictures. Thank you for your time.

I understood your needs, but I am only a translation contributor, so I now report the issue to the dev team. I let you know if it is a bug already resolved or if there is a setting you already can customize :-)

yes unfortunately the developer prefers to not to duplicate media files to not to use more space, so you have to maintain the media files in your gallery.
