Great Tent but wish the Rainfly Allowed more Airflow

I purchased this tent from Amazon and was just able to take it on a 3 day camping trip with me. The tent is very easy to set up and take down and is the typical solid Coleman construction. The tent is super roomy inside and I'm able to stand up fully in it being 5'10" tall. The only complaint I have about it, and hence the 4 stars instead of 5, is that the rainfly is almost too good. It literally covers the entire tent, not really allowing any airflow and it got quite hot inside during the middle of the day. I was camping in California with 70-80 degree weather so in colder climates, this would probably not be a detractor but a positive instead. Also, this is a bulky tent and so should be used accordingly.
