Hello all,

I have not contacted you for some time as I have been spending my time 24/7  at the hospital.  They have a couch in his room where I sleep at night.  He was scheduled to leave the hospital yesterday (Jan. 1st) but he had three episodes with his heart and then a breathing problem that sent him back up to ICU so I have spent the last two nights at Doug and Julie's home.  They moved him back to the third floor last night and hopefully he wont be in the hospital too much longer.  When he moves to the extended care facility I will have to spend my nights away, but I will be with him all day.  We have great hopes for his complete recovery but have  become reconciled to the fact that it won't happen very soon.

We know it was a gift from the Lord that he is still with us.  There were so many interlocking events that made it possible for him to survive that we know it wasn't just by chance.  We are so greatful for the gospel and the knowledge we have of a Savior who loves us and has given His all that we might not only enjoy this life, but the life to come.

We love you all and wish you a wonderful New Year.

Leo and Bea
