Hello All,

We haven't communicated with folks much since returning to Oregon.  I thought it would be a good time to let everyone know how  things are with us.  We have been home for nearly three weeks now.
Leo is getting stronger every day.  It has been just three months since he had the cardiac arrest and we still consider it a miracle that he his still with us.  He has dialysis four times a week at the present time and tolerates it quite well.  We brought a walker for him which he never uses now.  Maybe he would if he decided to go in to a store with me, but he has always detested shopping. Each day he shows increased ability in all phases of life.  I no longer need to get up at night to help - he helps himself so I am getting quite lazy.

We had lovely weather for the first couple of weeks- truly wonderful spring weather, but it has now turned into Oregon weather, rain, but that's OK too. We had almost forgotten how wonderfully green it is here in the winter.

Since today is Sunday, we will make our pilgrimage to Roseburg and church.  We may even try to stay for the entire block - that would be a new one for us.

We have appreciated the many visits, phone calls and other messages from so many of you.  Thank you for your concern.  We love you all.

Leo and Bea
