It is up and working again for me as well. I checked the forum mentioned in my original posting, the lead designer on the Adobe Podcast team replied a few hours ago and mentioned they had an issue and are getting it resolved. I just tested it and it is working again.
I am experiencing the same problems today 3/27/23 (USA-west coast). Upload a file, and wait 10 minutes for it to process and enhance. It then gives me an error message. I've also been using adobe podcast enhancer for the last few months and has been amazing, just wish it was built into premiere or audition. But today...
"You've reached the daily limit of 1 hour per day! Upgrade to Express Premium to enhance up to 4 hours of content a day. Yet again, I'm getting this message even though I've only attempted to enhance 20 minutes of audio on seperate days. Adobes length of days appear to be different to reality! Happens mostly at weekends, Saturday/Sunday. Could it be deliberate i order to get us to upgrade?

So I found this error when trying to emulate my phone, since the website works fine on phone. But it would be annoying, since I must switch from PC to phone repeatedly when working on a project. Can someone from adobe podcast fix this issue ASAP? It's driving us crazy.
Thank you very much! Unfortunately after trying it it didn't work. Searching around it seems the problem is that the current DFX Winamp plugin is a Winamp 5-style DLL, and ffdshow only supports Winamp 2-style ones (that menu name is quite literal). I've contacted FXsound's support asking whether they know of some other way to make DFX work with Zoom Player. Once I receive a reply I'll post an update here.
Recently purchased DFX 11.017. Simply install DFX, then go to options>advanced mode>audio and select DFX speakers under Audio renderer (is shows up in my zoom as the first one), select that apply and Voila! - the magnificence of Zoom player meets the power of DFX!
Hi, recently when windows were my main os I've been enjoying the new free Fxsound(old dfx audio enhancer) a lot. I do encourage you if have any access to windows via dual-boot or emulator test it and see how it's so great.
I mean if you see in Fxsounds there is a whole bunch of presets for every type of audio and they are actually pretty well doing the exact job even in addition there are some more downloadable from their site or elsewhere.
I was searching for an audio enhancer like SRS Audio Sandbox or DFX Audio Enhancer. The sort of enhancer that sits between your soundcard and Windows OS and processes all audio sources, be it music, movies or games. And today, I found one by mistake.
Yes its the right option for me since I have no idea how to customise audio and how to fine tune it to my own liking. I just prefer something preconfigured and to a safe level where no hardware can get damaged.

Some ASUS machines come with a software called Audio Wizard. (When you plug in a pair of headphones or a speaker, smart audio will pop up automatically, and in the bottom right corner you'll see the icon and something like "open audio wizard"). It allows you to mess around with the sound and has several settings such as "music" "movie" etc. DELETE THIS PROGRAM. After deleting this, the volume on my laptop became significantly louder. I think it was just dampening certain frequencies for effect.
My Asus ROG laptop suddenly started having a similar audio problem: Audio such as Youtube or podcasts would start out loud, then after a few seconds would self adjust to a level about 20-30% lower (so even at full volume it was low).
If drivers are OK, check if some installed sound drivers offer you customization of some kind (different than windows parameters) where you could maybe increase the volume. Not possible on my Asus but it was an option on my previous laptop (MSI) so it's worth checking.
If at this point you still want to increase the volume it is possible to some extent but it will very likely result in some quality decrease. You can install third-party software designed to increase the volume such as Letasoft Sound Booster or DFX Audio Enhancer. You can surely find quite a lot of them online with a quick search, I don't have any personal recommendations.
