well it's pretty useful. let's try the previous sentence with totally the wrong grammar:

"useful the well pretty were."

doesn't make any sense!

people also can be annoying about minor grammar stuff b/c they connect perfect grammar with being smart. attacking people for grammar errors is often socially acceptable when a lot of other attacks would not be socially acceptable. like attacking someone's grammar is not called "insulting", "flaming" or "trolling" them. (unless you're too picky, then people call you a "grammar nazi". social rules for what people will approve and disapprove of are really picky and hard to learn and predict.)

lots of ppl have called me kinda dumb cuz sometimes i type in lowercase letters. people complain about lowercase when they want an excuse to attack me, or an excuse to dismiss what i said and not pay attention to it.

the other day someone said i didn't use capital letters or punctuation as a complaint. but my punctuation was actually perfect. he just saw the lowercase letters and associated that with not writing punctuation marks either. it was kinda weird how blind he was. i wrote like 3 sentences and they all had periods at the end and there were some commas too.
