Im getting in about 2:00 on Friday and will be ready for anything.  I bough a ticket to the Knox Street Pub thing ($40 bucks all you can drink) and will stop there for awhile on Friday.  Up for going out before for dinner, and after for late night shenanigans.  Unfortunately I do have tickets for the game, but if you all want to meet up at the Wine Bar in the fair about 2 minutes into the second quarter....Ill be waiting.

I think the dinner idea sounds fun if we can get a place. My concern is how shitty bar-hopping can be that night.

What all parties are in the table? Will dean's have a good crew of our friends or just younger people?

If we can figure out what we are doing after dinner Meredith and I can look for a place for dinner to accommodate us.

It looks like Dean's is mostly the younger crowd. I haven't heard anything about any other parties besides Red River Party, which was basically teen night last year.

What if we called in and made reservations at some place where we could get a private room and do drinks and dinner. Then afterwards we could stay there or go elsewhere as we please. If we got together a reasonable sized group (25-30) once all is said and done with friends and dates, we wouldn't even have to leave.

 

If we have a smaller group and want to blow it out I'll throw out Stephan Pyle's as a possible dinner spot. Had a dinner there one year for my grandma's birthday and it was awesome.

I talked to the limo company this morning and for an 8-10 person limo it will be $1056 plus gratuity for 5 hours.  Another option I talked to the guy about is to get a few town cars that would fit 2 couples each.  These would be about $86/hour each and we would have more flexibility if we went this route.  If we do the town cars, each group could set up their own car with the company.  

Let me know what y'all think as we can always just take cabs.

Drew, that was an epic throwback quote appropriate for this weekend. I think we wing it and bum around Knox/Uptown and try to find a non-douchey bar with a reasonable (or nonexistent) cover charge. We can also always head over to Knox Street Pub right after dinner and just go to the non-Dean's party section (the entire rest of the bar) and say hi to our friends there then move on.
