Important Airport Authority Meeting Thursday!

Hello all…I’m not completely sure where to start with this email so if I ramble please excuse me. I’m writing to remind everyone of an event that is going to take place on October 31st that will have a huge impact on our fellow tenants in Hangars D-1 thru D-14.
The LEASES for every hangar (D-1 thru D-14) are set to expire on October 31st and the unofficial rumor is that the expiring FIVE YEAR leases will be replaced with a ONE YEAR lease effective November 1st 2025. No discussion……”This is your new lease!” This is not good for the owners of these hangars! Value, Future Sales, Maintenance, etc. will all be negatively affected by this decision from Airport Management and the Airport Authority.
It is in all of our best interests to attend this meeting as a show of support for our friends who own hangars in the D-1 thru D-14 area. Although not specifically listed as an agenda item on the meeting notice, there will be a “PUBLIC COMMENT” period at the start of the meeting where anyone can express their thoughts and comments regarding anything Airport related. This would be an excellent time for “D” Hangar owners to express their feelings to the Airport Director and the Airport Authority in a Public and documented forum.
I hope to see most of you at the meeting Thursday night and if I can answer any questions please let me know.

Hi Jay,
This would be a betrayal of the agreement and the new standard lease in 2021 that was adopted after over a year of input from tenants. See attached. This lease calls for a 10 year term and standardized terms across all leases since then. We renewed ours last summer. I find it difficult to believe that they would abandon it
