Hello Everyone……Today is the day! Tonight at 6:00 at the Commemorative Air Force Hangar is the “Workshop” to discuss the future lease plans for hangars D-1 thru D-14. This has been a “Hot Button” item since back in October when the Authority announced that those (and other) hangars were on the current Airport Layout Plan to be removed at some time in the future. I think everyone that attended the “Spirited” November 6th meeting and in particular, the tenants who spoke publicly at that meeting , should be acknowledged by everyone for their effort on the part of the entire tenant group. Again to all of you who spoke….Thank You Very Much!
Since none of us know what’s been going on behind the scenes since the November meeting, I’m gonna strongly recommend that we approach tonight’s meeting as an opportunity for the Airport Authority to do the “Right Thing.” In other words……Let’s give them the chance to answer our questions and if we as a group don’t feel like their answers are satisfactory, we will collectively take the lease issue to the next level.
I’m looking forward to a good turnout tonight and hopefully the D-1 thru D-14 guys will all come away with a longer lease and give everyone some additional “breathing room” to formulate future plans.
