Dear Falconers
Greetings from Falcon new administration 2016-17
This year we target to make our club base into 40. Currently we have 23 good standing members and nearly a dozen inactive. To reach this goal we need to enroll 20 more members I don’t think it’s a difficult task. Already 8 new members are in the queue . I hope half a dozen “hibernating members” will be reactivated soon. Still we need your assistance to get new members.
Please note that:
1. Falcon is not just another Toastmasters club. It’s a LEGACY left behind our predecessors
2. It has a rich past and present. It has 15 years of experience in leading both societies- Toastmasters and community. In fact it is the icon of our community’s 15 years of empowerment on the island.
3. It produced many leaders and role models. It has potential leaders capable of leading nationally and internationally.
Below are the major decisions taken by the EXCOM. This report is prepared by secretary TM RIzwan Haris
EXCOM : Meeting 1
The first Excom meeting prior to installation was done at Hayath Mall on 20.06.2016 at 4.15PM
Kamal Mohyuddin, Mansoor Ali, Rizwan Haris, Noushad, Ibrahim Kutty, Rafeeque Ahmed were the officials present.
1. Induction of new prospective members. Total members to be targeted 40person.
2. Membership fees per individual 78BD per annum, can be paid monthly 4BD, or can be paid at one shot 60BD availing the discounted rate.
3. As per previous excom decisions, club does not waive off any club members dues on any factors. However, any members are allowed to be a sponsor for their fellow members.
4. Each Excom bearers were briefed upon their roles and responsibilities.
5. Imposing fine on the members who happen to skip the assignments at the last moment with whatever reasons will be made mandatory. Members are requested to inform prior to 2days if any in convenience in carrying out the assignment provided.
6. We have decided to present certificates to the speakers instead of the practice of presenting ribbons.
7. YLP sessions decided to be conducted on December 2016, but are prone to change depending on the examination dates yet to be confirmed.
8. We will try to find out a permanent venue for TMI/YLP /Gavel club and other community activities during this term. Will rent out for other clubs' activities with reasonable fee.
9. Raise the fund for the venue through Honorary Membership and soft skills training.
10. Will conduct New members orientation program and falcon family gatherings during the term
11. Senior members Waheed Murad, Mohammed Nazir and Haseeb Abdul Rahman will be the club EXCOM mentors.
12. Appoint sub committee to each EXCOM members, they will be delegating the officers during their absences.
13. A team of mentors and seniors will be formed for the contest preparation
14. Will encourage members to delegate the club in Area-Division-District and other club activities

Dear Falcon TM President,
First of all, congratulating all the new elected excom including myself and wishing and hoping to create an exciting and fruitful term ahead with the co operation and co ordination from the new elected bench, on whom we place our trust completely.
I beleive all the points that we had discussed have been included and if anything is left to be added, you are free to voice out. I thank president for the support and wishing all a great term ahead!

Mr. President , Pointed noted . With leaders from Falcon in Area and District level , inshallah i am sure Falcon will have wonderful and exciting term this time also and hope , as usual , importance will be given to quality and educational programs.

Febin it's BD 78 including Toastmasters annual Fee BD 30. It was BD 27 earlier.
Haseeb , clubs don't need a theme now No harm if have one. if you have any suggestions always welcome. Since we AIM HIGH something related to that would be better I believe.
