THIS WAS SENT OUT TODAY BY THE DISTRICT.  I THOUGHT MAYBE SOMEONE OUT THERE MIGHT HAVE SOME THINGS THEY COULD DO.

Staff,

Teens Make a Difference needs more projects for their event on Oct. 23…below is a message from the steering committee:

Thanks for your help! We have a lot of teens signed up to take on service projects during Teens Make a Difference Day on Saturday, Oct. 23, and could use more projects for them to do.

Projects run from 9 a.m. to noon, and a pizza lunch follows at Straight Street, and representatives of projects are welcome to head over there for the celebration as well.

The teens can take on everything from yard work and gardening to cleaning and organizing supply closets to helping with decorations to painting and much more. They can get a lot accomplished during those three hours!

Each project needs an adult representative to be there during the work, and each adult who will be there will receive a Teens Make a Difference Day T-shirt for participating. If supplies are necessary, the projects also need to provide those.

If anyone has questions, they're welcome to call the Nonprofit Center at (940) 322-4961, or me on my cell phone at (940) 631-4137. I have attached a project form that can be completed and faxed to the Nonprofit Center at (940) 322-4962.

Thanks again,

Jessica Langdon

Co-chair, Teens Make a Difference Day Steering Committee
