Put a shortcut to on-screen keyboard on your desktop and set the keyboard shortcut to: ctrl+shift+y if you want to use on-screen keyboard. Put a shortcut to joytokey in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup and right click the shortcut and set it to minimized if you want joytokey to launch on start-up.

This also has a lot to do with retro gaming, so old school is sort of the idea here. I use joy2key the most for my ms-dos games which usually need different keymapping for each game. It's easy and straightforward to make the profiles, and it works. I spent hours with xpadder and it was just wonky, and could only load a profile based on what current .exe was running. So RL with joy2key just works for me.

I know have it running ONLY through RL and have deleted all my Additional Apps from LB. Anyone that does not have RL, can use the other method of adding the .cfg to "additional apps" and LB will launch them for each game. I have to admit... this Rocketlauncher app if Friggin awesome and cuts out a bunch of extra work on LB. Thanks again for the profiles!

Yup, enable keymapping, point it to joy2key. Use the built-in feature on the keymapper tab for your system, and get nice per-game profiles without much fuss. I think a lot of the confusion with RL is just not knowing about it, and how to navigate it. Which is natural. But once you either figure it out, or are shown, it's not that bad. I just helped someone on this forum set up their mame with the nice unified bezel pack for RL in like 20 minutes or so. Then once they watched, it was like, oh yeah nice, that wasn't hard at all.

As for why in particular I use JoytoKey, because I have UltraStik360s that I upgraded my X-Arcade Xtension with and use Mini IPac for the buttons and Ultramap for the joysticks. I use RL for EVERYTHING except Flash games. Not a big fan of any of the flash games. But, using RL allows me to have Fade screens, Bezels, Ultrastik 360 Configurations for each platform, system or game, AHK and VJOY profiles and configs for everything and a super cool way to control everything from one app. Launchbox is Friggin' FANTASTIC but RocketLauncher is the perfect partner to this awesome frontend. Just my opinion, but after finally learning how to use it, I will never go back.

The best part about JoyToKey is that it allows you to create personalized profiles associated with certain applications. That means that, for example, you could activate keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop, Google Chrome, or any other program by using your controller.

Players can also run multiple different configurations of controller mapping by using different profiles in JoyToKey. Once configured, players should be able to control their computer with their controller of choice. All you need to do next is navigate to VALORANT and start up a game to test out the functions.

Just like JoyToKey, players can make multiple profiles for different controller configurations or different controllers all together. This software also allows for community created remapping profiles for different games. On their website, reWASD has different controller profiles that players can download specifically for VALORANT, Fortnite and other games.

For players who changed their key binds in VALORANT, they must remap their controller for those specific key binds. In reWASD, that means downloaded profiles must also be adjusted. For example, some players like to change their ability binds, normally Q, E, X and C to different keys like 1, 2, 3 and 4. These new keys will need to be manually inputted into both programs to use successfully.
