Ok. New app. That's right. Need to save those notes I recovered so WELL WELL YOU HAVE NOW LIMITATIONS OF 50 NOTES.
And you even ask 99 euros yearly. With that I can obtain 1TB of cloud space synced on my pc + office package.

@Niall O'Reilly You can't add fonts - use what's offered inside of the app. These fonts do not require a license and work in all EN clients on all platforms. They make sure that notes will not change their layout just because viewed on a different platform.

The slow deterioration of this once invaluable app has been a real beat down over the past several years. With their latest hack-job on the free accounts, and no reasonable paid subscription options, bailing on the service was a no-brainer. 3,000+ notes in 3 dozen notebooks, acquired over the past decade finally have a new home.

I found that Joplin was just what I needed for my notes and checklists. Joplin's import function worked better than expected (although I found that some notes imported better as markdown instead of html, so I'll keep my Evernote account as an archive in the event I need re-export/import specific notes in a different format). The lion's share of my Evernotes were images that I was using with Evernote's OCR function, which Joplin doesn't have, unfortunately. So, for my notes requiring OCR, I transferred them to one of my Googe Drive accounts using the CloudHQ service, which again was pretty painless, but took more than a day to complete... And no longer will I have to endure the incessant Evernote pop-ups telling me it is my "last chance" to get a X% discount.

Anyway, luckily for me it was relatively easy to copy paste all my notes in Google Keep because YES. I only had simple notes, but I wasn't different from user that attached images, use OCR, etc. Well done Evernote.

The FSM label continues to lead the way in definitive releases of classic film scores, through exhaustive research and restoration, complete and expansive albums and copious liner notes. With Goodbye Mr. Chips, a new major highpoint in their ever growing catalogue has been reached. Producer Michael Mattesino and the FSM crew have compiled a massive 3 disc set for the well-received 1969 musical, based on a book by James Hilton, starring Peter O\'Toole and Petula Clark and featuring music and songs by Leslie Bricusse and John Williams. This project brought Williams\'s talents for conducting and adaptation to forefront, leading to the subsequent, large scale film musicals Fiddler on the Roof and Tom Sawyer and soon paving the way for his involvement in blockbusters such as The Towering Inferno, Jaws and Superman. And while Bricusse was responsible for the music and lyrics, Williams tackled the underscore, orchestration and source cues and thus all the songs are provided rich orchestral accompaniment. Listeners with well-attuned ears can ably discern his personal flourishes and style throughout.

And with a final resounding choral demo version of "Fill the World with Love" for the "End Title", the all-encompassing audio journey through the Goodbye, Mr. Chips production wraps, a feast for fans of the film, its stars, lyricist Leslie Bricusse and the legend John Williams. Kudos to all involved for presentation, restoration and the extensive notes on the film and its music.

Chips was overwhelmed by this show of love and loyalty. Perhaps, no one else knew that Sir John Rivers had been his pupil. Ralston could never have imagined how deeply Chips had taken root in the hearts of his pupils and colleagues. He learned to his chagrin that some values, however, old fashioned, cannot be simply wiped away. He had the best intentions for Brookfield, but could not compare with chips because the old teacher has given the best part of his life to the school.

In this regard too, Chips was in complete harmony with the school. Throughout his career, he cared to remember only the boys who became soldiers, professionals and the like, and not the peers and administrators. Conscious of its own easy-going dignified ways, Brookfield had little tolerance for modern methods of commercialized education. This was amply demonstrated by what happened to Ralston. This hotheaded young headmaster came fired with visions of leading the school into the future. Significantly, he clashed with none other than chips; for, the old teacher had now become Brookfield itself. The whole school rallied round Chips and Ralston had to concede defeat. Actually, he was not at all wrong. He only made the mistake of losing the historical perspective. He forgot that some values have a time-honoured sanctity, and therefore, ought to be treated with reverence. He thought that Chips was an impediment (hurdle) to progress. Little did he realize that, by belittling the old man, he was striking at the very roots of what Brookfield stood for. The school and the schoolmaster proved that dignity, honour and a sense of proportion were far more important than glamour and commercialism.

After gaining their independence in 1968, the Nauruans embraced a Western market approach to living. Lured by the rewards of an economic system adopted by the rest of the planet, they liquidated their natural capital by selling the phosphate ore that lay just beneath the surface of their eight-square-mile island. In return, the Nauruans gained a brief period of financial wealth, but also the immense challenges facing all of industrial civilization. Spam, potato chips, and beer replaced their diets of fresh fruit and fish and created a population plagued by obesity and diabetes. Alcoholism, cancer, stress, and technology-associated accidents became common. With only scraps of their native vegetation left, the Nauruans are now unable to feed themselves, and the phosphate that pays for their imports is almost gone.
