As far as I know I can work Sat., Sept. 20th, at 9 a.m.  It is nice to know that there will be enough help.  It's difficult when we can't get enough workers.  Thanks for setting it up Heather.

Hi everybody--
The garden is looking pretty sad these days.  Do we want to plan a work day where we can turn over and amend the soil and maybe plant some fall/ winter seedlings?  What about this weekend?  Can anybody do Saturday or Sunday?

Hello All-

The garden is a nice addition to our community and I say thanks to everybody.  Just a few comments:

The worm castings should be harvested.  This takes about a week and anyone interested should give me a call.

The sprinklers in the square do operate and have been raised to fit any additional raised boxes.

The western double hedge is being cut back and the remaining hedge will be trimmed neatly 18 inches above the unit fence line.  This is a work in progress and the hedge roots will need to be dug out in the future.

Finally, finding more interested Residents is important so I encourage any outreach.

Best regards,

John

John, can you please ask the gardeners to trim back the hedges by the compost bins so the lids can stay open while we put our compost in?
Thx.
Amy
