Suggestions for next version

Add Setup bias (Draw Neutal and Fade) - this is far more important to
all clubs than the bounce which no one cares about after purchase and
only really comes into play in wedges. Take bounce off of all clubs
but wedges. Use the Bias D,N,F instead.

The repetitious entries like the club's Make (Callaway, Mizuno, etc)
and Model (Fusion Irons) should be pickable after being entered once.
This would speed club entry bigtime as most golfers are brand whores
and tend to be devotees of a club maker. Try to rip any one of my
Scotty Cameron putters out of my hands and you'll draw back a nub!

Please make the spinners BIGGER.

Shaft lengths need to be 2 decimal places not 1.

Change "Other" to "Shaft Specs", cuz thats what you have buried
underneath.

Please add basic scoring before any GPS features. You'll bring more
people in play with basic scoring. Allow for the following simple
function.
Provide for 9 or 18 hole play. Select this before entering starting
hole number.
Enter the starting hole. All additional holes should auto generate
from the starting hole selected. This allows for staggered starts.
Enter the par for the hole - spinner.
Enter the total number of strokes - spinner.
Enter the total number of putts - spinner.

From this info, you can at least calculate GIR, total # putts, etc.

If you could then store this in a basic format to be output (CSV?) via
email, you'd have a winner.

My favorite little positive in your app is the ability to place the
degree designation in the title of the club but it should be easier.

Add functionality to select multiple bags to a single club in one
shot. Clicking add bag, selecting the bag and it automagically saving
it wastes time. Add ability to select multiple bags!!!

Add head weight to Putter club fields.

Bug Alert! Trying to edit a text entry (e.g., club description)
cursor placement fails!

Sorry I didn't reply to this sooner ... I fixed the shaft length,
bigger spinners, and renamed the shaft specs section. Biggest of all I
added exactly what you asked for, I added a recent and a mini popular
club brand and model database to the application. Check it out ... I
took to heart what you said and what others have posted in comments
about the speed of entering clubs. I hope you like it ... it's still
not perfect, feedback is welcome!!! I'm planning on making it easy to
add sets of clubs ... soon, soon ...

These and other changes are now available in Fairway version 1.0.2

A few other comments on your post:

- Basic scoring is up there on my to-do list, pretty high in fact.
- I was thinking of using one of the other symbols that you can select
on the keyboard but was worried that other people would complain about
not having them. I'll try to make it easier.
- You want multiple bags on the main screen or just when setting up a
club? I want to make sure I understand.
- Putter weight will be in a future version.
- Draw/Fade bias will be in a future version.

I really do appreciate your comments. User feedback is my best way to
improve this application. If you have any other ideas please post them
here. I also have a small request, if you like the application then
please rate it on iTunes. Some users seem to not understand the
application and users who do I'd appreciate honest feedback there.
