Ironman Boulder Volunteer Opportunities

Hello everyone!  This email distribution list is comprised of athletes and parents from years past to just this previous season.  Each summer I sign on to host an aid station for the upcoming Ironman.  In return, the Fairview Track and Field team gains grant money as a donation towards our team.  The funds I'm currently raising are for the safety nets to keep our fielders safe from lacrosse and soccer balls during practices.

Run Aid 6 - One Hit Wonder - Crew Boat Lot (Supported by Fairview HS Track and Field)

As run aid station volunteers you will be responsible for handing out water, energy gels, energy drink, fruit, and sponges at your run aid station. All materials will be provided for you in a 26 foot truck that your captain will be picking up and driving to your aid station location. Volunteers will assist in setting up and tearing down the aid station tables and product. You will be receiving maps, and further details from your captain as we get closer to the race. This is a great spot to cheer on the athletes! Have fun!!
