State Track Update ~ Sat, 5/21

Hello team!

This has been quite the season, but if you think back, this meet...the State Championship meet...is the only meet that we've seen postponed due to SNOW!  A near 90 degree day on Thursday and postponed due to a winter storm on Friday.  Thank you Colorado for always keeping me on my toes!

Here's the plan for the next day of state competitions and what it looks like for our Fairview squad:

Start time for the meet ~ 2:10pm

Athletes allowed in the stadium ~ 1:10pm

Spectators allowed in the stadium ~ 2:00pm

High Jump with Liv and Sophie ~ 4:30pm

Special Olympic Shot Put with Eddie, Lochlan and Milo ~ 5:45pm

800m Run with Helen ~ 6:30pm

Special Olympic Long Jump with Eddie, Lochlan and Milo ~ 6:30pm

Special Olympic Discus with Eddie, Lochlan and Milo ~ 10:00pm

It's going to be a much later meet than originally planned, so make sure you bring plenty of snacks, LOTS of extra warm layers and a "I've Got This" attitude!  Can't wait to see all of you tackle this obstacle like true champions!
