Winter Training Week 1 (or 2)

Hello team!  It was great to see so many of you this past week as we started to get in the routine of Winter Training.  This next week we will continue to build our foundation and welcome many of the distance crew back after their much deserved time off after the XC season completion.

I'm still waiting on a RevTrak link from the athletic office so that you are able to officially sign up for Winter Training, so until that is created, just keep on coming.  We will worry about payments at a later date.

This next week, we will meet as a team for 3 days, Mon/Tues/Thurs.  You can discuss options for the other days with your direct coaches.  Here is the current plan:

Monday: 4:15pm - Meet at the track, normal XC location (PV side).  Weather will be around 45 degrees, so dress appropriately.  Distance has a normal run planned and sprinters/fielders will be at the track.

Tuesday: 4:15pm - Meet in the fitness center.  Distance can use this location for a bag drop before their run.  Sprinters/fielders will focus on strength training.

Thursday: 4:15pm - Meet in the fitness center.  Distance can use this location for a bag drop before their run.  Sprinters/fielders will focus on strength training.

Each day, please be prepared with layers of clothing, as warm-ups might occur outside for everyone.  Also, it gets dark around 4:30-5pm, so please wear visibility items such as reflective gear and headlamps to make sure you are seen and remain safe!
