Destiny Foundation Award - Viewing Party

Free to attend, and Destiny products will be available for purchase

Smarita Sengupta, co-founder and director of Destiny Foundation, won the Impact Award from the Global Women's Leadership Network. This prestigious award is given to a female leader in the world each year for her contribution to empowering women and girls. Plus, it comes with a grant (hoorah!)

Weekend sales position part time for Handcrafting Justice :


HandCrafting Justice, a Fair Trade nonprofit retailer with headquarters in Astoria, NY is seeking a part time weekend sales person for 10 to 15 hours a weekend.  The sales generally run on Saturdays from 2 to 7pm and Sundays from 7am to 3pm in NYC, and are located throughout the boroughs, Long Island and Westchester. The individual should have a strong background/interest in fair trade and/or international women’s empowerment and be dedicated to the organization’s mission of economic justice. Pay will be administered per weekend with the potential for added commission based on goods sold.
