1. December Events

Fair Tuesday

Date: Tuesday, December 3rd

Time: All day

Location: Online at fairtuesday.com

Description: #FairTuesday is an ethical shopping movement created in response to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The goal of #FairTuesday is to inspire conscious consumerism and show how an everyday purchase can change lives in a whole community. #FairTuesday features fair trade, ethical, and eco-friendly brands all dedicated to creating positive, sustainable change.

Union Square Holiday Market

Date: November 21 - December 24

The 2013 season of the Union Square Holiday Market will be open from November 21st - December 24th. Hours of operation are Weekdays 11am to 8pm, Saturday 10am to 8pm and Sunday 11am to 7pm. The market is closed on Thanksgiving Day.

NYC FTC members include: Marquet, Mr. Ellie Pooh, and Nuts Plus Nuts

*There are other fair trade products available too, these are just the ones that are members of the coalition

Holiday Market with Gifted Hands

December 10th from 6-8pm

Gifted Hands is a nonprofit in LES that trains women in jewelry design and business skills so they can be economically self-sufficient.

Friends of Fresh and Green Academy Holiday Party and Sale
