Dear Fair Trade supporters,

I hope you are all having a great summer !

As the next year of our membership commences, I am pleased to outline below activities as we have help together.

Neverthless,  I have decided to relocate to N.C. (next month) to pursue my Ph.D in sustainability and hope to contributing the growth of our organization in the near future. 

 

Accordingly, while I still strongly believe in NYCFTC's vision and although my heart will always be here in NY, the board is now considering new candidates for a new Chair to resume the work of advocating and supporting fair trade, someone with a vision, talent and time to take over the Chair position of NYCFTC, effective immediately. 

The ideal candidate is passionate about Fair Trade and community development and has the skills to interact with the board, organize events, manage interns and engage in social media to promote fair trade. 

The current board will remain in place to assist the new chair.

Thank you to all the members and supporters over the years. It has been a pleasure to serve you and work together to raise awareness about the importance of Fair Trade. I hope those of you who have paid membership, will remain patient during this transition, but you have the option to be refunded your membership fee, if requested.
