Hi Ute and Annie,

Here is the new CheddarUp link for Teacher / Staff appreciation.

Unfortunately, moving it to a separate page lost the history of donation items. We have received donations from 80-90 students / families. If we are targeting 200 students, I can add something like "We need 112 more families to make donations". But I'm a little concerned -- will it sound too aggressive given that we already received objections? WDYT?

Hi,

Thank you Sophie! I thought we could do a thermometer graphic showing how much we've received and how much we need. Maybe that would be less aggressive? Or something like "we are less than halfway to our goal". Or "only a quarter of families have donated".

Yes, we could add a progress bar. But because the history was in the other collection, this one will show $0 and I can't reset the number. That's why I hide the progress bar. 

Does that mean we lost the names of who donated? 

No, they are not included in this new collection but still exist in the other collection, the one for overall pta donations.

I was thinking of using a thermometer for the graphic that we send around. Our goal is half of Fairmeadow? And we've received around 80-90? Or is it better to use a dollar amount?

Oooh, I see. You mean we use a customized progress bar, instead of the one from Cheddarup. Yeah, that works great!

Quick update with a more accurate number for appreciation donations:

- From the old link, we have received 111 donations per student (i.e. donation for 2 children from the same family counts as 2), or 87 per family (i.e. donations for 2 children from the same family counts as 1).

- From the new link, we received 4 donations.

If the goal is 200 students, then we have reached more than half!

Ah, sorry. I was out of town today and just got back. We already hit half of the goal last week.

Until today, we have:

- The old PTA link: 111

- The new dedicated link: 11+4*2+3=22

So 133 donations per student!

@Ute Ben Himane Would you mind reminding me on Saturdays to pull the number? I will also mark it on my calendar. I may not check emails during the daytime, especially on weekends with kids around.
