Dear Colleagues,

We are now accepting applications for our 2019-20 Galen Williams Fellowship Program.

Through the Fellowship Program, this year we are able to hire two part-time, paid fellows--one to work with our editorial team and another to work with our Readings & Workshops program. Each will work twenty hours per week for forty weeks from September 2019 through June 2020. The pay is $15.50/hour ($12,400 for the full term). The overall goal of the Fellowship Program is to nurture future leaders for the field. Fellows also provide valuable support as well as fresh insight and creativity to our team while getting an in-depth introduction to work in the nonprofit literary field. These fellowships are perhaps best suited to graduate students and individuals who have recently completed a graduate degree; however, others have also proven to be terrific fellows. All qualified and motivated candidates will be considered.

Previous fellows have included students and recent graduates from the MFA programs at Adelphi, Columbia, the New School, NYU, Oxford, Rutgers, and Sarah Lawrence, among others. Past participants are currently working at Kundiman, Les Figues Press, and Poets & Writers, as well as teaching and editing.
