Attention creative writers of Fairfield University!

Our campus’s very own literary journal, The Inkwell Literary Magazine, has returned for its spring 2024 edition! And we want to publish your creative writing pieces. Write your own fiction, poetry, or nonfiction piece inspired by this edition’s theme – Rebirth!

Submissions are due by May 1, 2024, and the journal is expected to be published by May 15. Send your entries to inkwell...@gmail.com as a “.docx” or Word file. Emails subject lines should follow this format: [Your Name] [Graduation Year] [Category] Submission. For example, my subject line would look like this: Daniela Murphy 2025 Fiction Submission.

The email itself should contain only the file. Your name should be in the subject line only and not included in the file.

Further rules and guidelines, such as word count and permitted content, are in the flyer attached below. If your entries do not comply with the rules and guidelines, they will not be published in our journal.

We can’t wait to share your creative talent with the rest of our campus community. The final Spring 2024 journal edition will be published on our website: https://inkwellliterary.wixsite.com/the-inkwell. Feel free to visit the website and check out our old issues!

Happy writing!!

~The Inkwell Club of Fairfield University

NOTICE: Your entries may be subject to light spelling/grammar editing if there are glaring errors.
