Take ENG 4952: Publishing Practicum!

Dear Creative Writing Students,

If you're searching for a Spring 2022 class that might help you connect your interests to a possible career path, please consider ENG 4952: Publishing Practicum, a small internship-style class that allows you to work as a literary journal editor for Dogwood: A Journal of Poetry and Prose, correspond with authors, and learn layout and design skills.

One of our students from last year writes, "The experience that I had with Dogwood last year has helped me tremendously with this job, as I am helping to edit these pieces and build them for publication, just as we did back in class. The editorial team loved that I already had experience with the publication of a professional journal. I am SO glad I took your courses last year, they have definitely furthered my career goals."
