All,

The Norwalk River Valley Trail begins in Norwalk and, when completed, will extend to Danbury.

The trail committee has secured a grant for the initial trail design.

Here are the times and places for public input for the initial design. It’s very important that folks interested in this trail show up and voice their needs. It is at this early stage that you will have the most leverage in the overall trail design.

NRVT Community Planning Workshops:

·        May 9: Norwalk - Norwalk Public Library Auditorium, 1 Belden Avenue, Norwalk.

·        May 10: Wilton - Wilton High School Cafeteria, 395 Danbury Road, Wilton.

·        May 11: Danbury – Warner Hall on the Midtown Campus of Western Connecticut State University, 181 White Street, Danbury.

·        May 18: RidgefieldVeteran's Park Elementary School Cafeteria, 8 Governor's Street, Ridgefield.

·        May 19: Redding - Redding Community Center, 37 Lonetown Road, Redding.

Regards

Hi Deb  It's been a while since we have spoken.  You are doing a great job with the facebook connection and the electronic communications.  I have not been able to attend mtgs at 8 am...too early for me.
I have reduced much of my altruistic/volunteer work this yr as I look for work and clients...but am still very interested in this project.
It seems that you were able to join the "official" Steering Committee...did Moccia officially appoint you or did the NRVT group realize that you were hardworking and sincere?
I look forward to the workshops...
Pls ad me to the e-Newsletter.

Thanks
Diane
