High School Baseball Players!

Players that make their High School Baseball JV and Varsity teams are highly encouraged to also sign up for Little League Baseball so they can keep playing baseball after their HS season is over in May and play on through June and July.

·                 Deadlines for players on a High School Baseball team to register for Little League and secure a spot on a team are: ( Juniors & Seniors: March 6th / Big League: May 15th  )

·                 High School players in Seniors and Big League are guaranteed to get to play with their High School teammates because Senior and Big League teams are formed by what schools the players go to.

·                 High School players should not practice or play games in Little League until after their High School baseball season is over in May, unless their High School coach grants them permission (check with your HS coach, each school has a different policy).

·                 High School players only need to play in 60% of the Little League games played after the last game their High School baseball team plays to be eligible for All Star consideration

2013 rough Schedule

·                 Junior and Senior games will start Saturday March 23rd and run through the last week of school.

·                 There will be no games played over Spring Break March 23 – 31 (no games)

·                 Big League games will start Saturday April 6th if we get enough non-High School players to sign up before April 1st.

o   Otherwise Big League teams will form in mid-May, immediately after the High School baseball seasons are over, and play games through end of June and into July.

All Star Tournaments:

All Star Tournament Teams are announced in mid-June and those players selected will get to practice and play games on through mid-July or longer.

·                 This year there will be 2 Junior, 1 Senior and 1 Big League All Star teams.

·                 The Big League All Star team this year will get an automatic bye to the State Tournament which will be held in Woodbridge.

Coaching Staff for 2013 (so far):

·                 Juniors: Pete Elliot, Scott Peirce, Pat Donohue, Steve Thornhill, Randy Reisinger, Chris Lawrence, Jay Kittelberger, Justin Collins, Derek Roux, Ricardo Infante, Ed Thurston

·                 Seniors: Ed Sugrue, Tom Uzzell, John LaBarge, Jack Friel, Jay Thomas, Kevin Riddick

·                 Big League: Mark Davis, Randy Darrow, Ed Thurston

Very Respectfully,

Randy Darrow
